Spiders!

Real quick post! We are learning about spiders this week. Check out this great activity from Amy Lemons. My kids had so much fun!

First, we read "spiders" by Gail Gibbons. We charted spider verbs and adjectives along the way. Then, students chose three adjectives and three verbs to create a spider poem and craft! We are ready for some Halloween action.

Also... We started bar modeling this week in math. Tough stuff. Check out Singapore Math if you have a minute. I created some resources that I hope to post soon!
