'Tis the Season

I don't know about you, but I am wiped. Exhausted- that might be a better word. We have four days left before break and I am guessing it is going to be quite the week. We have our Christmas program on Monday night which means kids will be wound. But... all in the spirit of the season.

Here are some things that we have been up to lately!

TODAY we went to see Ballet Met's The Nutcracker. My little ones came to school in their fanciest clothes. They looked precious and had such a great time.

We have been focusing on multiplication over the past couple of weeks. We used several items from Amy Lemons' "Marvelous Multiplication" unit. My kids loved how hands on it was. We were crafting and learning quite a bit!

We used "How many in each hand?" to explore multiplying by 2.

Working with equal groups!

They are loving multiplication and all of the ways that they can use it.

I recently began sharing on Teachers Pay Teachers. I have a bunch of free materials in my store! I am currently working on a multiplication unit to upload. I am hoping to finish it and some other things for the new year over our fabulous two week break. Click the picture below to visit my store :-)
